Bubble Teams: What Needs To Happen

99% For Sure Will Get In

1. Theo (4-3)

Theo is in the best position out of any of the bubble teams. At 4-3, they control their own destiny, and all they need to do is avoid being the first team to lose to Ba Dunk-A-Dunk all year. That game should be a gimme.

To Get In: Win vs. Ba Dunk-A-Dunk

2. Elect Judge Jim Wascher (4-3)

I believe Jim Wascher is in the second best position because against Hungry Unicorns, they should get a win pretty easily. Like Theo, they control their own destiny.

To Get In: Win vs. Hungry Unicorns

Since 5 teams have already clinched, Theo and Jim Wascher will be teams 6 and 7 (maybe not seeds, but they'll get in). The rest of my predictions are based on the fact that Theo and Jim Wascher win next week, which I think are both gimmes.

Most Likely Will Get In

Boo Radley and Friends and AK-47 are the only other teams that control their destiny. At 4-3, winning gets them in. Unfortunately for AK-47 and all the teams at 3-4, AD plays AK-47. Boo Radley, on the other hand, just has to play We Are Huge in Japan. So:

3. Boo Radley and Friends

I think they'll beat We Are Huge in Japan, knocking Japan out of the A league, and knocking all the 4-4 teams out with a win. This is huge: If Boo Radley and Friends wins, there will be 8 teams at 5-3 or better, which means all the teams at 4-4 will be out no matter what.

Because of that harsh reality, AK-47 must beat AD to make it to the A-Leauge. I originally predicted them to lose, but that was under the impression Robert Gorodetsky wasn't playing. With him, I think they can win. So:

4. AK-47 is my last team to make the A-bracket, which leaves Ortega out as well, who I think will fall to Barifinkle.

That leaves 9 in A, and 9 in B. But I'll humor the 3-4 teams who still have a chance, and provide information on what each team needs to clinch a playoff berth.

Theo

With Win: They get in
With Loss: They fall to 4-4, and would need 2 of the following teams to lose: Ortega, Elect Judge Jim Wascher, Boo Radley and Friends, AK-47. If 3 of those teams win, and Theo loses, Theo is out.

Elect Judge Jim Wascher

With Win: They get in
With Loss: They fall to 4-4, and would need 2 of the following teams to lose: Ortega, Theo, Boo Radley and Friends, AK-47. If 3 of those teams win, and Jim Wascher loses, Jim Wascher is out.

Boo Radley and Friends

With Win: They get in
With Loss: They fall to 4-4, and would need 2 of the following teams to lose: Ortega, Theo, Elect Judge Jim Wascher, AK-47. If 3 of those teams win, and Boo doesn't, Boo is out.

AK-47

With Win: They get in
With Loss: They fall to 4-4, and would need 2 of the following teams to lose: Ortega, Theo, Elect Judge Jim Wascher, Boo Radley and Friends. If 3 of those teams win, and AK doesn't, AK's out.

With Win: They get in

My bet is that Theo wins, Elect Judge Jim Wascher wins, AK-47 wins, and Boo Radley and Friends wins. The only game that isn't a gimme yet (I think), is Men vs. Globo Gym. The final seeding in the A-Bracket should be:
